Since opening our doors in London in August 1987, TSEC has always been about maximizing attendee engagement through phenomenal experiences. As a leading event agency working across the globe, we’ve helped clients communicate their messages effectively through live and virtual events.
2005
US office opens
In 2005, after a strong event relationship with our US clients, we decided to open an office in North Carolina.
Over the past four decades, we’ve continuously innovated and evolved our services to meet our clients’ changing needs, growing into the full service experiential agency we are today.
2024
DRPG acquires The Special Event Company
Acquired in January 2024 by the renowned global creative communications agency, DRPG, we are now backed by the powerhouse of over 400 specialists. Expanding our team of event producers, planners, strategists, creative directors, designers, animators, videographers and storytellers.
We are a fully integrated and truly multi-channel agency whose in-house offering is unsurpassed. For our clients, this means not only unrivaled creativity but also a frictionless process that is both timesaving and offers value.

TSEC rebrand
After 38 years of crafting unforgettable moments, we’ve evolved beyond events to serve our clients’ needs. But calling ourselves The Special Event Planning Video Expo Digital 2D/3D Animation Marketing Production Design Copywriting Communication Service Company felt…a bit long-winded. So, in 2025, we decided to refresh our brand to reflect our evolution while honoring the foundation that built our reputation.
With a bold new team and fresh, modern identity, we continue to deliver the exceptional event strategy, design, and execution that we’re known for now, with a plethora of additional services that make us the one partner you need for all your events and communications.
